Methodology
I believe that a strong presentation or elevator pitch is almost always the difference between a client won and a client lost.
More and more businesses are sending technical experts to present to clients.
The problem
You already have the experience and skills to solve your client's problem, but... unless you can convince your client that you are the right person to help them, your experience and skills are worth €0.00.
You only ever get one window of opportunity (e.g. a pitch or conversation) to convince your client, because: 1) we form judgements quickly and 2) these judgements are very hard to change afterwards.
Success in this window of opportunity relies on a completely different set of skills (e.g. powerful verbal delivery) from the ones that form your core business.
How to solve it
Don't let your pitch or presentation be the weak link that stops your clients or investors from choosing you.
